She won the UniqloFashionIllustration,​ award,​ visited Shanghai and Tokyo.​ The drawings created during the trip were later published in a book titled "Ten Days in Tokyo"

Laura teaches at various educational institutions and is part of the expert committee created by Quentin Blake,​ which is responsible for organizing the first international illustration gallery in London.​

she creates illustrations for the weekly column in the Financial Times newspaper

she regularly works on commissions for various American and British newspapers and magazines

she learned to appreciate mistakes and understand their value
